Piper PA-14 Family Cruiser

This is a picture of an original Piper PA-14 Family Cruiser.  This was the first 4 seat production aircraft produced by Piper and was a direct out growth of the J-3 family of aircraft.  The PA-14 is the inspiration for the Wag Aero 2+2.  The difference between the two is minimal; most notable is the absence of flaps and a jack screw trim system on the 2+2.  Both of these features are easily added to the 2+2 to more closely model the Family cruiser.  Here is a link to a good history Piper High Wing aircraft including the PA-14.  Piper High Wings

Plans, materials, and subassembly kit offerings for the 2+2 are available from Wag Aero .
